In 2003, the firm received its designation as a Certified Management Firm through the California Association of Community Managers (CACM). Certification is achieved by undergoing a rigorous third party independent audit and evaluation of the company’s policies, practices, ethics, and financial controls. Less than 2% of all Common Interest Development (CID) management firms in the State of California have attained this status. Kocal Management Group is an active participant in CACM, the state’s largest professional organization for manager education; activities; services; and networking opportunities, helping managers and management companies achieve excellence in the industry.
We attribute our positive growth year after year to education. Our managers educate Boards of Directors to help them make informed decisions for their associations, which, in turn, stabilizes property values in their neighborhoods. Board members from our associations are invited to seminars hosted by Kocal, which inform them of the latest developments related to CIDs. All of our seasoned managers have undergone extensive education and training in CID management in order to earn their Certified Community Association Manager designation.
